Default Is it worth swapping to JDM lights Bugeye

My standard lights are rubbish. Not sure why Subaru lights are so naff. Is it worth swapping to JDM lights on a Bugeye? Any improvement in visibility?

JDM HIDs? Yes. Night and day (literally) difference. You can drive fast at night without even having to switch on main beam thanks to the projector cut-off. Probably best mod on my Bug.

Good alignment is essential to get the best out of any lights. In my opinion, HIDs are vastly superior to any halogen system.

You mean led bulbs? What kind, isn't it abit of a minefield getting the correct ones? So much Chinese rubbish out there.

I run nighteye led and all the family do now to, night and day better only thing is if I run the prodrive headlights I change the bulbs back to standard for the mot as its hard to get the light patten bang on but you would need to change hid before a mot anyways

JDM HID headlights are Mot compliment as they are OEM. You can't just stick HIDs into reflector lights as the beam pattern is all wrong and you'll blind other drivers. Same with LED.

Yea got a set on my classic, did some before and after photo's on the the what mods you do to your car this week section.

I was just hoping to try something new, might try those led's out. I've seen 2 JDM light sets forsale, but one comes with HID lights and other looks there there standard bulbs. Just wondered if the way they distributed the light was better or something.
