Hi guys, I own a JDM STi bugeye, I am thinking about getting morette headlights for it, but I believe it will not be a straight swap (wiring wise) because of the ballast packs for the HID lights on my car.
Is there a way of converting the morette's to HID?

If you have genuine HID lights, I'd not bother with Morettes.

Hi Alcazar, I do have the HID lights but one is damaged, am struggling to find a replacement, they tend to be sold in pairs and at anything from £230 upwards they are not cheap, I have a chance of a pair of morette's pretty cheap, and thought if I could convert them to HID by using my lights it would be a win win plus I like the look of the morette's

You CAN convert anything to HID, but would yoiu want to?
Morettes use four bulbs, so that's two HID sets.

And HID aftermarket stuff is no way as good as the real thing, trust me.

I think I still have a pair of genuine JDM HID / xenon bulbs that I'd split if need be. I removed them to convert to standard for an SVA test, they haven't be handled and were wrapped upon removal. Send me a PM if of interest?
