Default widetrack ppp

rite guys i have a widetrack with ppp fitted. ive been going on some forums im i rite that the ppp included the following
  • Remapped ECU (a result of which Prodrive strongly recommend sticking to 98+ octane fuel)
  • Sports Catalyst
  • Backbox (silencer)
  • High Flow Fuel Pump – often a Walbro 255lph I believe

my is a 05 blobeye widetrack only thinking out loud as wanted to get it remapped to 330bhp etc and wondering if i need to get a fuel pump

bearing in mind its age and the price of a new pump I would do it regardless and go for an uprated one.

Yeah, for all the additional cost of a fuel pump, get a new one in there anyway.

It's already on about 320bhp anyway? I thought the published PPP figure of 305bhp was never actually the case?
I could very well be wrong though lol

IIRC PPP cars usually dyno'd at less than the advertised 301bhp.

I thought they were 305 PS (or 265 PS without the PPP)...splitting hairs really!

Yep, the hairs have officially been split. WR1 is nothing to do with the OP’s question.

I realise WR1 is irrelevant (amended my post) - it was just that I remembered it's power figure in both PS/bhp and was thus surer of what I was saying re the standard Blob STi.
