Default excess travel in clutch fork

OK Hawkeye 57 plate no realclutch issues previous let partner drive it boom brings it home on back of a low loader. Brothers looked at it (mech) clutch pedal goes on won't engage.Clutch fork has excess travel goes forward hits gearbox any ideas?

Clutch release bearing popped out. Gearbox off job.
