Afternoon guys, so have been investigating my car now I’m back from working away. I’ve been told I should have a MAF sensor or a MAP sensor but not both which I have? My 07 Impreza wagon 2.0 Hawkeye is a non turbo with turbo coil packs on the spark plugs too.
I have got the vin and the engine stamp but the engine stamp numbers don’t seem to match the vin.
So in all I’m thinking that there has been an engine swap done at some point but I think there maybe a turbo not been fitted as it should have been! any ideas how I can check if the engine in now should have a turbo fitted or not

you do know what a turbo looks like dont you? just check!

it should be on the passenger side rear of your engine, probably with a metal heat shield over the top

I do know what a turbo looks like! And the there is no turbo if there was I would have expected probs a td04 or td05 but nope.
