Put it this way, the car has never felt this quick, my dads just been out in it and crapped himself! The MAF is definatly brand new. They may have robbed me but i have my 13sec car back!

I don't consider a 0-60 time of 13 seconds that fast actually????

I suppose the Sport has got the same MAF??

Remember, if you think it's fast then it's probably running too lean ...... you may have a faulty MAF on now and the last one was perfectly ok ...... who said it was the MAF??

Thats 13sec 1/4mile Peter

The mechanic ive been chatting to said it could be the MAF or the Lamda sensor after i went out in the car with him.

Thats what they replaced it today, and the car feels quicker than its ever done. I changed the spark plugs from 6's to 7's recently also. Im not putting it down to them though!

We all said it 'could' be the MAF or lambda .......... and thats without seeing it!!

Now, biggest profit margin would be on what do you think?? CORRECT!! the MAF!!

Reset the ECU - punter goes away in a car relearning (so, appears faster!)

Garage re-cycled another perfectly good MAF!! Everyones a winner!!

It's the PERFECT crime!!

Maybe I should get one then??

Seems at £70 to be the best power improvement you can make!!

After all, my brakes have now reached 60,000miles without being worn out - I need a fast car to get them working!!

Went to Triton today because my CEL was on, they sorted that, (bad wiring to a lambda) but the tickover is a bit in and out, and they told me it might be an idea to change the MAF!!!!!! at the next service

WoooHooo!!! I feel part of the gang now I need a new MAF

Yes, 60,000miles now ..............

I am seriously getting a bit concerned, I know I am a highly skilled driver and my anticipation ability is second to none, but its quite a mileage for one set of brake pads!?

I will actually be quite happy when I hear the shims squealing ........ its just not natural?!
