fsti windscreen rubber surround
2007 fsti , so basically the rubber surround around the windscreen that is on the outside of the screen and just rests on the body work , mine has a few splits in it , can the trim be replaced with out removing the screen or is it part of it , i did not want to pull it off and make a mess and then not be able to replace it , cheers for any replies

Nope. Is part of the window seal and the screen needs to come out to get it changed. If they crack your screen they will try fob you off with a UK screen with a sun strip, but hold your ground form the genuine JDM version that was installed on the car without sun strip. Also insist they use a genuine seal because the aftermarket one they fitted to mine had terrible wind noise anything above 40 that was unbearable in the car. I had to get them to take it all out again and fit a genuine seal and after that it was silent.

As above it's bonded to the glass before fitting
