New tyre recommendations
I'm after some new tyres for my 2006 Impreza WRX.
Currently got autoguard tyres fitted which are pretty shocking!!
As its the first time changing the tyres since I've owned the car I'm looking for recommendations on what people think the best tyres are.
Thanks is advance :-)

This is a good website to check:
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/
You can search for the tyres that suit your model.
Generally, Michelin PS4 and Goodyear eagle asymmetric 3's are good all rounders, uniroyal rainsports are a bit cheaper but also pretty good.

Do a search for Auto Express tyre tests - they score the various characteristics of tyres and are really thorough - good for side by side comparisons. I have proper full fat P zeros on the classic but I seriously considered the Vredesteins and have always found the Continental Sport Contacts to be great all rounders on cars Ive had in the last few years.

I was unfortunate that 2 days after fitting the 4 of mine to hit a pothole that also had debris in it and punctue it at 70mph, and by the time I could safely stop too much damage was caused to the side wall so ive got a budget kumo on instead. not doing mega miles so will just leave it as unmatched to I replaced them at a later date
at the time I was lucky enough to pick tem up for

+ £343.10
Then paid my tyre place £40 for fitting and balancing . Cheapest any place locally could supply was £126/corner
For some reason when I rechecked the cheapest they came up was £126 each when using the lookup. However they list tyres with different speed ratings. here them at under £100 each
