STI Seat - Removing the height adjuster?
Hello people,
So i have a 2005 Foz STI and im looking to renew the drivers side bolster, i took the seat apart and everything but im struggling to get the height adjuster off. I thought there was a bolt inside the cap (as ive seen images of this on another scooby seat), but alas the **** is solid and not 'hollow', ive read that theres meant to be a C-Clip or some clip but all i can feel inside is a slot which has something sharp on one side, but i cant feel anything that feels like it will release.
Do i need a special tool or something or am i just being abit 'thick'? i did google search the forum but none mentioned the issue i have.
If it matters, the seat has the black hump.
Thanks

Scooby Regular
Parts diagram shows **** with a wire "winged" C clip, similar to what used to be fitted to some "old school" manual window winder handles......

Hi Don,
Thanks for getting back to me, i did think would be a C-Clip but just cant feel anything that feels like it. Unless the sharp thing is one side of the clip (though all other sides are smooth), guess ill just have to dig around and see.
You dont happen to know how big the C-Clip is do you?
