Seat Height / Seat Rail Modifications ?
Hi All,
I'm a newbie here, and have just taken a test drive on a MY06 WRX. I loved the car, but the driving position was a little cramped for me, (I'm 6'6")...
Does anyone out there have any knowledge on whether the seat rails can be moved back, or extended, or if the seat can be lowered further than the lowest setting ?
I've always wanted a scoob, and the wagon is the perfect car for my needs at present...
Any thoughts or advice greatly received (lopping a few inches off my legs isn't really an option though, unfortunately)
Cheers,
Andy.

Hi Andy,
I'm 6ft 6" and never had any problems with Scoobs tbh, but I would of thought modification of the rail (from my own experience with fitting bucket seats etc) would prove fairly intensive.
Regards,
Shaun.

What you can do is replace the seats with aftermarket ones. Some aftermarket ones come with a longer rail and fitting of the rail to car needs to be customized, hence height problem solved.
