Default How much shall I sell for?

Hi all

I have a 59 plate WRX S which I will be putting up for sale. I love the car, but we have recently had a kid and my wife is no longer working. I can't afford the running costs and life on one salary.

It has done 117,500 miles and has passed every MOT comfortably.

It has a Haywood and Scott exhaust and Twin variable suspension.

For a part ex I was offered £3000 which I felt was a bit insulting. What do you guys think it could reach? And how much do you think I should settle for?

£3k sounds low, but mileage sounds high - so all depends on condition etc. As others have said - pictures needed

So it is a 2.5l turbo, Impreza WRXS, 2009 Hatchback in Satin Pearl White. Part Service history but one due very soon so should be fine afterwards.

I'm the second owner (had the car since its first MOT in 2012). I'm pretty sure it's all standard, engine wise. Wanted to get it remapped but paid for a wedding instead. How my life has changed!

auto trader, gum tree and even facebook
seaech the lot.

I recently sold my Honda frv and was going to list it for £6k with wanting £5k. For my year, milage and condition I could have had it up for £7k

but a Jazz came up at £6k for the wife and I needed the cash now. Reduced it down to £4250 and the Motor group called me offering £3900. I was reluctant and said they will be wasting their time if they try to haggle the price.

2 days later they took it at £3900. I managed to get £100 off the jazz as it only had 2 months mot - it’s just passed.

Could be worth callng the motor group

We buy any car says £3325. So, would £4k sound right or do you think on gum tree/ebay for £5k?

That IMO is a lot of money for 4k'ish

Can't believe how much these have dropped in price compared to blobs etc - they're by far my favourite impreza shape.

Purists wouldn't agree with you, but I really do. The handling is excellent and the front end is sexy.
