Reverting back to stock recirculating valve

Reverting back to stock recirculating valve
I have recently become the own of a bigeye WRX, it's a 2002 and the previous owner has stuck a god awful eBay blow off valve on it, I have acquired a stock valve and early next week I will be putting on, my question is, do I have to reflash/reset the ECU after doing this? Or can I just put it on and go for a spin?
