Reverting to stock foglights issue.
I recently got a UK Impreza Turbo (my00) which had a set of PIAA 80XT driving lamps fitted. After one stopped working, I did a few searches and found that many people have the same issue, that they rust and leak badly. I don't like the look of them anyway so just got a set of standard fogs.
Now, I know that there is a PIAA harness in my engine bay wired directly to the battery and has proprietary connectors for the 80XTs. I thought these had replaced the original fog light connectors, but I found the original connectors intact tucked neatly away in the bumper, taped up. I thought okay, this should be much easier, and plugged them in, only to find they don't work. The foglight switch doesn't light up, and I didn't expect it to because the harness wired the driving lights to go on with full beam
Already contacted PIAA, and Prodrive but neither have the instructions, which is always good . Could anybody advise how to go about restoring the factory foglight circuit/what to look for when removing the harness or failing that, anybody have the instructions for the lamps for reversal?
Thanks in advance for any assistance

Guess the relay has probably been removed and the switch may have even been disconnected. Found this that may be of some use to trace the wiring through:

Below is the Front Fog wiring for a UK (RHD) MY97
The MY00 shouldn't be too dissimilar
The fuse/s as well as the relay may have been removed.
