Reverting ECU to standard
Putting my car back to standard next week ready for sale.
Was considering swapping my TEK 3 ecu + exhaust etc, but it's an awful lot of hassle and the buyer would need to take the exhaust, headers, plump, pressure regulator etc.
So, if I just put my breathing back to standard, do dealers have the capacity to reflash my ECU with the standard map, or will I need to go to power station / PE / TSL?

Some mappers kept the original map... buried deep in the ECU.... allegedly..
Legend has it that it could be swapped back to the OEM one by depressing full throttle and pressing the rear screen heater button.. ??
Having paid the licence for the TeK...legend also has it that mappers can do it for quite a small sum.
Maybe your mapper can help ??

Ahhh, good old legend
Unfortunately that is only semi-true. The map it switches to upon depressing the rear demist button is actually a 'valet' map, which basically limits boosts. So-called because it's the mode you put it in when leaving the car with anybody so they cant drive it like they stole it.
I'm owed a few favours from my mappers actually, will give them a call tomorrow.
cheers
