Default One owner cars

Are there any 2005 one owner sti’s out there anymore?

im slowly trying to tell the misses we need a second car for our growing family and need something with grin factor.

car sos didn’t help with Tim saying ‘when a Subaru breaks everything breaks and it’s expensive!’ (Thanks Tim)

but im hoping japfest will make her noise again for a performance car.

but I don’t really fancy a 10 owner million mile car. I’d want something that has been cherished and will continue to be cherished.

this isn’t a wanted add (yet) more of a putting the feelers out.

Sometimes it's not a good idea to go for a one owner car, as a first owner will just run the thing and sell when there get bored with it, not always the case I know! but you really have go looking and use your judgement on 1-2 may-be 3 owner cars.

I,m not on commission but take Zany,s for example, 2nd owner car can be the cars to go for.

Think about it, say you buy a one owner car? you spend money on getting it the way you want, come time to sell, the next owner going to reap all the benefits.

Out of curiosity, why would you be looking for a 2005 one owner car?

i prefer blobs and the 2005 are the wide track better car IMO.
i do like the hawks with twin scroll but don’t like the tax or the non scooby rumble

Fair enough, but one owner to me isn't desirable. A good owner, or good set of owners with good reputable history is more important to me!

Yes I like the wide-track too, and I believe the tax hike was post March 2006 so there are some Hawkeye cars that are low tax.

Good luck with your search, but I would sooner have a nice example with a few enthusiasts owners that have looked after the car, than one with similar miles that been a company car (one owner) with so called Subaru service history!

If you are serious give it to the Alzheimer's Society.......

Big up for the car anytime, if I was younger, i,d take your hand off.....

Maybe a serious buyer should read some of the posts on the car and make their own mind up.

Sadly not.... made up for by much earlier spool and more torque than single 2.0.

Mines a one owner, 2003, but it's not an STI.

Mines not for sale, but there must be some cars out there.

Having said that, I bought a bug wagon the other year... Err.. 5 years ago, and it had six owners and 135k miles at the time, and it was mechanically spotless (new almost everything), so I wouldn't let number of owners put me off tbh.

no burble but it screams on full chat ,strange but i prefer it instead burble
2 previous owners spent approx 7-8k on it in last 15 months
hopefully next Year will get lm450 or sc42+ from Santa
and sell it to the 8th owner

Never understood why people get hung up on owners or mileage (within reason)
Ive seen cars with 1 or 2 owners that have been absolute dogs and bought a couple with several owners that were immaculate. Overall condition is the biggest indicator, you can tell if a cars been well looked after withing the first 30 seconds imo.

Just look at tyres. Expensive tyres well maintained, Chinese ditch finders no money was spent
