It's getting worse Neil - couldn't agree with you more. After my recent experiences, I'm seriously considering getting a second car for doing all the normal day-to-day stuff and keeping the Scoob for weekends and trackdays Great shame

A friend of mine once suggested that the Government pull this sort of utter b*llocks to distract people away from other issues which are currently in the headlines. Its like they deliberately throw it in to annoy motorist's whilst they sneak in other legislation, and / or get away without being grilled on other politically tricky issues.
Nanny State. Waste of everyones time.
Fact is, the roads are the safest they have ever been... its not speed that kills, its careless driving.
Paul.

No wonder Jack Straw is so keen to recruit more police officers - think how much more cash they could earn. Can we look forward to a similar quota scheme for apprehending burgalars, muggers, car thieves, etc?? Somehow I doubt it

Bugger! I'm in the Thames Valley.. Strange, never yet seen a kid run over by a seatbelt that wasn't done up. Or an invalid tax disk.
It'll get like the US soon. Lots of speeding tickets at the end of the month to make up quotas....
Grrrrr.......
