Default S202 info needed

Hey all I am thinking of buying an s202 Impreza as I think it's the most hardcore Impreza and I'm just looking for some info is there any way of telling it's a genuine s202? Did some have dark blue centres in front seats or should they be all black and dark grey? And anything else to look out for?? Any advice would be great.

Thanks in advance

I've had two of them and you won't find a better newage model with the possible exception of an RA or RA-R but even then it would be down to personal preference.

Yea me too I'm looking an original car there is one for sale in Sva imports but has blue sti blob eye seats so will be impossible to find the spec c or s202 black seats.

Original and unmolested will command the best money. Modded or added tat is not an S202.

Plus the very expensive original carbon fibre rear spoiler is missing, that car isn't worth half of what they're asking for it in my opinion.

SVA need careful inspection too as things like the titanium exhaust, pink arms and oil cooler sometimes go missing. It needs all the right parts to command the money we all hope they will in the future as they are a fortune to replace or even locate

That's brilliant mate great advice I hope to own one soon haha but I'm not buying one unless it has all the gear as you mentioned definitely

The similar seats are fittrd in a Foggy STi. The S202 seats are pretty unique and as rare as a jock buying beers for his mate

I'd be willing to bet money that the S202 ones are lighter too... maybe... Bug Spec C or RA seats are the same... but the bug eye seats are known to be different to all other models, apparently they're the most comfortable, but I've never tried them so can't comment.

Had a 51 plate bug sti, and in my opinion the seats are better and more comfortable than my 2003 Spec C.

The seats in a Spec C RA Bugeye are the blue STi seats, the S202 seats are the same seats albeit in black material and as for weight saving there isn't any.

They are far better supporting seats than the later newage cars in which the shoulder support is poor.

Having been in and driven briskly a Bug Spec RA I can say they are definetly a better seat than the later Blob and Hawkeye.
