Default New Tints Faded in 1 week, wtf?

hi guys,

recently got my first scooby and decided to get some tints, went to a guy i have used b4 and had great job in the past. it has faded / fogged all around where the windows touch the rubber seal so like 10mm all round the edge.

i have seen moisture kinda collect here as a bit of a mist when washing or if bad weather but no visible leaks. i have reframed from opening windows and have not washed car since having tints.

is this a common scooby problem due to the design of the doors or have i just had cheap bad quality tints this time round?

thinking of going to a different tint co. to see what they say but thought i would seek out some impartial advice first!

any ideas?

Mike

Take the car back, give the guy a look,
explain you havent washed/use windows since fitting and can he made good the job you paid for.
Maybe he used wrong tint or bad prep without seeing you wont know.

Had my hatch tinted early December and no issues so far. As the other said take it back and give them a chance to fix first before going somewhere else.
