Default Classics and wheel sizes....

Thinking about doing a deal on a set of 18" rev millennium's for my classic...
Now the usual size to go for on a classic is 7.5" wide, these however are 8"... my arches are not rolled and I don't intend to roll them either..

Anybody ran an 8" wide wheel on a classic ??? Rub issues??
I'll probably stretch a 215/40 tyre on them..

Matt,

My Comp MO's are 18x8 (ET50) running 225/35 tyres and red STi shocks/P1 springs and they don't rub at all...

Revs available from here;

http://www.revolutionwheels.com/wheels/road/millennium/

Email them directly for best prices :-) I'm thinking of switched to 17's on my Type R as the ride can be a little harsh.

Hope that helps?

Paul.

8x18 on mine with 215/35 and the WR Sport Bilstein/Eibach set up.

Zero rubbing with that lot.

No, same Compomotive MOs as poster above. Offset ET50, not sure if that's the same as the Revs right enough.

I'm pretty sure all Impreza fitment Revs are ET48?

Don't hold me to that though!

Just thinking, I ran an 18x8 et45 with 225/35 on my last classic with no issues at all... although that was using coilovers and had a very slight arch roll, but there was plenty of clearance ...

The revs are all et48, so am I right in saying a et45 would sit closer to the arch than a 48 ???

Yes the lower the number the further out they will stick from the hub.
