Thanks, iv been told the type uk 2000 wagon is even more of a rare find, unless it's an STI, I'm still in two minds about what mods to carry out yet.

Upgrade brakes, upgrade ARB and drop links,Geo setup.
Then probably the best performance upgrade would be ESL.
Just my opinion

Yeah I'm on the hunt for an ECU, I have sourced some dimpled and grooved discs with new calipers, what droplinks do you suggest? I'm due to go see my scooby mate who's got loads of bits for me so hopefully he has some shiny suspension bits for me.

24mm rear ARB,22mm front ARB,solid drop links whiteline/superpro etc..That and a good Geo set up should see you rite.
No need for an ECU as you can add the ESL to yours and either get a 'pro' remap or have some fun and DIY

Yup
Once you have ESL and the cable then you can tweak for any future mods.

Yeah cheers for that...I don't use Facebook but I remember it from msn messenger

I picked up 3" exhaust system today along with P1 interior, front bumper, crystal head and fog lights, intercooler piping without the core but cheap enough on its own, STI clocks or dials, front grill, couple of BOVs, brake discs, calipers and meaty pads, bonnet inserts, one is like a mini scoop not sure the correct terminology for that, STI big bonnet scoop

stick with the standard recirc valve, dont start adding chav trumpets to it. Decent brakes, suspension, decat, 255 fuel pump, 3 port boost solenoid and ESL map will perk it up.

A standard recirc valve wont cause running issues and will make enough noise once the car is remapped. Theres several things that are classed as lowering the tone on here, vta dump valves, stickers, stick on roof vents, basically anything associated with the lower I.Q owners.

Good, clean, well maintained or quality modified win brownie points in the community, but at the end of the day its your car and you shouldnt give a shizzle what other people think.

Yeah i know what your saying i was listing the bits i got in the job lot i picked up yesterday, i wasnt aware of any performance loss of a BOV, thanks for that, appreciate all comments. Thanks Aaron

Nice clean looking wagon there...don't mess it up with a massive sti scoop

Don't waste your money uprating both ARBs; just slap an adjustable 22 on the back. Have a butchers at my old shed thread; cheaper to learn by others mistakes

Yes mate I'm making my way through that thread it's like a novel though, but when I'm on the toilet and things like that, I'm on page 22 it's a bit inspiring, the whole recycling of old bits and making them look pukka, good work pal I'm sure you'll eventually get there. Thanks for the comments.

These definitely won't fit btw the fronts would not a problem but the rears I can tell just won't so need to keep an eye out for some decent interior, these seats are probably going to send up being sold.

Saloon rear seats wont fit a wagon. I was very lucky to find an STI wagon interior for a customer that we swapped out for her old tired wrx interior.

A very nice upgrade is a blob wrx wagon interior. Front/rear seats both fit, theyre cheap and feel nice. Downside is the driving position is a lot higher but you get used to it.

PS, the seats you have there are out of a P1, so if clean and rip/burn free are worth good money
