Wheels for Impreza
Hey all,
I have a gunmetal grey 2008 impreza and am looking to get some nice looking wheels to just make it pop. The current wheels are 17in with 205/50 R tires if that is important to know. I would like to see what you guys would recommend and hopefully some pictures. The wheels are mostly for looks at this point, not performance.
Cheers

xD no one likes tractor tyres however would 19in wheels on a 150hp Subaru compromise any performance? I always assumed that bigger wheels meant more weight etc.

These kind of questions always annoy me a bit.... google can show you many many many styles of wheel. Surely you have a rough idea of what kind of wheel style/colour etc you like? Everyone has their own taste
Have a look through here for wheel ideas:
http://www.driftworks.com/wheels-and-accessories/
and here, for fitment advice - width, offset, tyre size etc:

The higher the wheel size the lower the profile = harsher ride.
18's are probably a good size for the Newage/Hatch NA or WRX turbo models, and will retain some for of ride comfort and handling that Subaru spent quite a few quid developing. Newage Spec C's could come with 16 or 17 inch wheels.
Some will obviously disagree but from my experience of 8 various marques/models of Subaru I think I can speak from experience.

Put a wide arch kit on lower it then put some Xxr 18" 8.25j wide alloys with 225 30 stretched tyres on boom!! As for bhp you'll be had by a decent golf tdi as is so no need to worry there
