It's a 2006 STI Import and when I got it someone had taken the control box for the gauges, I managed to find another one and fit it.

I have 3 gauges which are Boost, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure. The Oil Temp and Oil Pressure ones work perfectly but as soon as I plug the Boost in it kills all the gauges, unplug it again and the other 2 work fine. I have tried the Oil Pressure on the Boost gauge and the gauge registers so don't think it's the gauge.

Could it be the boost sensor? I have traced the wire and not found any cuts or damage. If so is it a case of getting a new one or can the old sensor be repaired?

The gauges say STI Genome on them and the control box and boost sensor say Defi.

Does sound like the sender is earthing out.
