Default 5k to spend on a classic

Friend of mine has sold his blobeye and is looking for a well spec'd classic that he can use for fun rather than being a show car.

Ideally after something in white but not essential and preferably an STI or RA and not a uk2000

Budget can go up a bit (10%) but would need to be in love with it for that.

Been searching since the weekend through various means and had a few people who "might" sell but so far nothing that ticks all the boxes.

I know 5k is borderline for what people class as decent these days but also know theres cars out there that fall within budget. He doesnt have more than what I've stated and isnt willing to spend more either as it'll be a 2nd car so saying that he should save up and get a blah blah wont happen.

If anyones thinking of selling or knows of something that may fit the bill let us know. Thanks

Thats second one looks nice. Fresh import so no rust unless it got caught up in the Tsunami.

1st one is at motorhub keighley so thats a no.

Got 3 shortlisted at the moment and going to look at a V5 WRX RA tomorrow. Ticks all the boxes so its down the customer/seller if its right for them.

Will keep looking and options open, sadly cant wait for an import as the lads keen to replace his blob.
