Mahle 2618 pistons
Guys
Bit off info needed if any of ya hase any experience with these.
Just finished a 2.1 useing these pistons, never used these before always been on 4032's, anyway cant get her to fire up. Wandering if these are hard to get started for the first time?

Not to sure whats goin on with her, couldnt get her to kick so tore her back down to tripple check everything and found more oil than im used to in the bores. Was thinking due to the extra clearence the pistons run they may take a bit of starting to get some compression out of them

we pretty much exclusively use 2618's in all of our builds as well as supplying them to other builders and customers
as above the non-start has nothing to do with piston spec
there is something odd going on there with all that oil about unless you have machined them for 1/2" bore clearance???
