I think I have an exhaust leak around the turbo area, I was going to remove it, change the gaskets then make sure all the bolts are torqued up properly, however on this turbo, the metal water pipe attachment impedes access to one of the up pipe bolts.

The bolt is on solid, there is no room to get a ratchet and socket on, I cant get enough leverage using a spanner, I thought I would remove the water pipe attachment but Im not sure how to get it off?

There is definitely no space for a spanner or wrench.

How can I remove the up pipe bolt?

 

undo the up pipe from the bottom and pull it out the top with the turbo
