Why buy a ltd edition MY01

if you're thinking of the new MY01 why is that? people seem to have a good idea what they are likley to get with it and how much extra it will be. it seems to me you could enhance a standard car with gold wheels, new lights, etc (if thats what the new car has, who knows!) for less money than a ltd edition may be.
how much is the ltd bit worth and why- does it hold value better.
just wondering.

The 'poke in the eye' with the UK300 as far as I am concerned is that it is not in an exclusive colour, and (besides the seats) you will be able to take any Sonic blue MY01 up to the same spec if you wanted. At least the earlier special editions were 'special' RB5 and Catalunya were the 2 best colours ever IMHO, and very rare in England even now. Sonic blue is common as muck
