Is it for a road car or purely track car?

Cusco dash-dodger used to be the easiest, but not sure they do one for a Newage (or if they are approved)

I'm torn between a safety devices unit as the seem highly recommended or get a bespoke one made

Safety devices seams to be the most popular. Decent cage, I fitted my own.
Unfortunately only scoobyclinic have the rights to sell it

Fitted a dash dodger to my blobeye a while back (cusco one from memory) ,,I will never fit one again as after a very hard corner impact (went into a wall) it nearly took my legs off ,, proper welded in one or nothing for me after this happened

a dash dodger is quite a bit different though domino, not certified due to the kink in the front leg, so they cant really be expected to stand up to a big frontal impacts

After competing I feel exactly the same as you, proper weld in using proper materials, installed by a proper fabricator. You cant give 100% if you dont feel 100%
