hello all,

so tonight i was driving my car everything was perfectly ok, next thing you no i pulled off in 1st gear when the car made a big thud and popped out of gear. now i can only get 3rd gear? when driving in 3rd there is a knocking/grinding noise from the suspected gearbox?

what sort of price is a second hand gearbox?

If you are going to get a second hand gearbox you really need it checking or you might end up with a dud. I am in the process of procuring one for my my GB270 and am looking in excess of £1000 for supply and inspection.
