The top end of your budget should allow for a tidy blobeye sti. Depends what you will do with car? Weekend toy then most people would opt for a classic type r but tidy examples with sensible mods demand a price now. For comfortable daily used car a blobeye id say. Alot of people avoid the 2.5s(hawk/hatch) as alot of horror stories. Then there the jdm 2.0litres that tick all the boxes but again prices are strong. Do a quick search on here and take it from there. There is alot of good members on here that will advise you. Good luck and dont rush into anything.
