As much as there is friendly banter banter between 4 door and 2 door owners in reality it comes down to personal preference.

Type RA is basically a 4 door Type R (couple of other differences but not massive) so can always get the same spec if you want

4 door = practicality.
2 door = not as practical, door are long (parking/garages can be a pain), access for passengers/children.

More 4 door cars than 2, body panel availablity.

I had a 4 door RA and loved it.

technically you need a 4dr STi RA to have the same spec as the regular STi style Type-R.........

The Type R's weigh from 1240 to 1260 kgs, the RA's range from 1170 to 1260 kgs as a comparison.
