Default Help please.

Hi every im new member and new to this scene so look forward to meeting all.

I have a couple of issues with my Scooby,

One being the dials, i found 3 cut wires undernearh the steering wheel, and the dials are constantly flashing where not working, ( did not know the cut wires and non working dials were related )

I need some advise on how to resolve this matter, I seriously don't have a clue how this has happened to the wires, or if I can even fix it, or maybe I can go to someone recommended to get this sorted?

Second issue, I have this form of keypad in the pull down fuse handle underneath steering wheel to the right, I'll put pics up so you can view it but I have no idea what it is ?

For some reason it's only letting me post 1 pic??? Confused and frustrated Scooby owner

Any advise would be great, thanks peeps.

Looks like the OE immobiliser and alarm have been chopped out.

Did you buy the car with these problems?

Yes, brought the car with these problems, there are a few further issues I want to share to and get some advise on but one step at a time.

What should I do regarding the OE IMMOBILISER? I checked that the alarm still works and it does, just feels odd not sure whether to get new alarm installed or if it's worth rectifying that one ?

Confused :/

Personally, I'd get a professional to rip out the original alarm/imobiliser and install a new one. If it's been played with you have no idea if the security has been compromised and might fail at random.
