Default Nos system installed and mapped

as a matter of interest I'm posting up this graph of my recently mapped wet nos system.
My car is an 03 Blobeye Wagon with a 2.5 sleeved/pinned block, wrx heads, billeted MD321T, Grimmspeed TMIC, W/M Injection, Alcatek ecu.
The Nos system is the basic WON level one with a pair of 150 pulsoids.
The 20% meth map which ran 466hp was scrapped and my V-Power only road map running 440hp used as the base in the 2nd map to run the nos on. Boost and ignitition were tweaked back on the 2nd map to accommodate the nos. AFR runs at a safe 10.8.1 using a 50hp nos & 20hp fuel metering jets.
Control of the system once activated is simply on a boost pressure switch which is set to click in/out at around 0.8bar boost.
Here is the resulting power graph, the car was mapped at RCM by Duncan.

Hi,very good results! I was just wondering why you have WRX heads?
What is the technical reason & what are the benefits?

Cheers

cost really and the wrx heads although they were worked on by Paul Finch which helped flowrate are adequate for my goals for the car.
thanks

I can feel the dip on the road, it kicks in, slight pause and then takes off, also the boost graph flattens at that point. It really is a raw affair and the dip is only a split second, investing in a nitrous controller to control the flow may be the answer but I'm happy with what I have. Duncans going to check the car out on the road so that may provide a few answers

Trev thats not good get duncan to sort it, there should not be that sort of drop in the ramp torque, can you post the afr and boost curves to go with that? it can't be down to the nos as thats a constant above the trip boost level
The power limitation above 5k will be TMIC related I suspect unless its just for ultimate "safety", afr really "ought" to be 11.7 (0.79/0.80) for safety using nos .. 10.8 is 0.73 lambda ! Pump fuel alone should run at 0.77/0.78 so its "very" rich
If he didn't check it on the road then "don't" .. too rich is as bad as too lean .. so get him to do that asap
You put a lot into your car I know
hope you are well

Hi Bob, yes I'm very well thanks,
here the boost graph which isn't the final map done that day as Duncan took some mid range fuel out but essentially the AFR runs at a steady 10.8.1.
Webster Engineering who are based at Santa Pod and where I get my Nos bottle filled did say the worst thing you can do with Nos is to run anywhere near lean but of course that's a different world were they're dealing with cars running well in excess of 1000hp
The AFR's on the meth map on my car were up in the 11.9's and the present base map would be well into the 11's so even with a jet nos/fuel ratio of 2.5 to 1 it's still bringing the AFR'S down. The car has never felt better engine tone wise when under full power and it was out of choice to run at this AFR but if something is being missed I won't now run the nos again until Duncan re-visits.
thanks very much for your heads up
best regards
Trev

Bob, I've just been on the Wizards of Nos forum and they are happy with running the AFR at that level, as long as the fuel is fully atomised, they don't see a problem. I get their experience of Subaru wouldn't be great. Is the risk of det increased by running rich or is it a case of unburnt fuel in the cylinders?
thanks
Trev
