Hi recently bought a subaru its down as subaru legacy? But looks like a mk1 subaru impreza estate, it has 2.2 turbo engine and its 4x4.. Cant find anything online on ebay or anything another car the same? Its 1996 english model, all i can find it 2ltr turbo versions? Anyone be able to help me out ? Trying to find more info on them as this subaru is the quickiest and fastest subaru ever been in

Indeed and Impreza. At a guess, based on a v4 word wagon: face lifted classic, with aftermarket front and rear bumpers (looks like the early front indicators have been reused). Looks like it has a big brake conversion and, if it has a EJ22 lump then it's probably been build by someone as it's not a standard version.

What makes you think it's got a 2.2 in it .?
And when you say it really quick, have you driven other impreza's to compare it to ? Even a stock impreza feels quick to someone who hasn't driven them before.

Its down in logbook as 2.2 t and its the same engine as the other 2.2. Yeah been in other imprezaa but nothing like this must had some work done on it have a audi a3 2ltr turbo sline. And it leave that standing been told got over 300bhp but have no prove

The logbook also tells you that it's a legacy so going by that I would take the information with a pinch of salt.
If is a 2.2 then it'll have the writing 'EJ22' written on the block. This can be found on the block itself near the alternator. I would imagine it's a logbook error and is actually a 2.0 turbo.

With that top mount intercooler you'll be pretty maxed out at 300bhp too chap.

The early intercoolers are good for a bit more than that, ive seen upto 320bhp using one. I'm currently around the 300 mark with my car which uses a slanty cooler. Beyond that and they start to become a problem

Looks like many other improrts that the dvla have registered wrongly lol that one will be the same and id be surprized if its running more than 160bhp with that leaky vta dump valve and oily cheap maf killing filter
