Default Wheel colour?

I'm in need of getting my wheels refurbed. Not sure what colour to go for.
Need some pictures for inspiration. This is currently how it looks, I like it but happy for a change.

I like how they are but how about dark grey/anthracite?

Also... Your car would look awesome with the front splitter on from ht autos.

I've had this problem myself and pondered over it for weeks lol. Ice got a silver scooby though. In going for white. It's rare you see a silver car with white wheels just go for something unique that will make people look and that you enjoy looking at.

All my cars have had different colour wheels, I had a silver 106 gti with white wheels, it looked really good!

Then my white fiesta ST had Porsche Riviera blue alloys.

I would be tempted with pink as the engine bay is pink silicone hoses but I think that's a bit gay. Not sure, might have to Photoshop it lol

Why is your suspension so high? It looks higher than standard.

Pink would look good, as would green or orange, but its a very asbo look, depends what you're going for really. How about a deep cadburys purple?

Yeah I thought about something like pink or baby blue. Decided to go white with pink lug nuts and a small pink sticker on each alloy.

Black is the only colour for me that bright silver works on, may be an option.

Otherwise I wouldn't go too dark, maybe the anthracite colour that is std on the P1 wheels (which may or may not be a nicer shade than the type R colour)

The best Rota bronze match I ever found was: Fiat 750F Marrone Vulcanico

Have a look at this thread.

https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...nze-paint.html

I sprayed my redlines in that colour, loads of pics on page 2 and 3 and they look perfect after a year of hard use.

Bought the paint from Fleabay.

Job done! Have to say I'm very pleased with how mine came out.

Put some pics up and update the other thread too when you're done!

I've used the Fiat colour a few times to touch up my XXR's and it really is a great colour match.

That's alright then, cheers. Do you think it'll suit a multi spoke instead of a 5 spoke?

Also I think it might highlight how high the car sits, Which lowering kit can you suggest?

I'm using Tein S-Tech springs. They are great. Nice and low but still drives great.

Yep, standard shocks. In my case they are WRX shocks.

Don't go down the coilover route if it's your road car, you will spoil it. Standard shocks with good lowering springs is a MUCH better road combo to live with every day IMO.

My car as it is today on Tein S Tech springs.

I totally agree with the above....

I personally think black wheels on a black car look best, but I would say that as I have the same

Definitely needs a front splitter too

ooo that front splitter does look very tidy.

OK it's sorted, I think I'll lower with Tein S then get the splitter (depends on how low it is) then wheels painted.

Annoying the speed bump on the entrance to my work is like mount chiliad.

Its a carbon fibre one from Xtreme Carbon, Storm motorsport were the supplier I had it from, Really nice snug fit too and looks really nice against the black.
