Default Flange Issue!

Hi all,

Not as exciting as it might seem, but I've just gone out and bought a new FMIC for my Hawkeye STI and it appears to have a universal flange where the blow of valve would go.

That puts me in a pickle and facing the prospect of further costs.

The help I need is 2 fold.....

1. Can you get some sort of (decent) adapter that will fit the universal hole and enable you to fit the flanged version of mine? Mine was a direct fit for the standard recir valve when I changed it and can fully vta or recir so rather not buy another one.

2. If not, what blow off valve should I be looking at? What have people got on their cars now?

Thanks

So if I get a new one will need a universal flange end. Have you heard of anyone buying an adaptor for their standard to go into a universal?

Thanks.

If you must go VTA, Turbosmart, genuine HKS, Forge.

Most do a 34mm outlet, so if you get a 34mm adaptor you should be ok

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delayed response, for some reason never got notification of posts being made for the last couple and never thought to check again! (My bad!).

I'm fitting a HDI GT2 Pro and missed out on that Flange on ebay as had sold. I'm looking at a HKS one someone is selling (sounds a genuine one) so may not need one after all.
