Default What's it worth? WRX wagon.

Sorry for the dull thread, but I want to get an idea of what to ask for my scooby. I only bought it last summer, but I've since had another baby and need a seven seater. I'm genuinely gutted to sell it as I've spent loads on it getting it pretty much just how a want it.

You can see the details in my garage link on the left.

It still needs the back bumper sorting as it was a bit tatty when I bought it and it has a few small marks as do most Subaru's due to the paper thin body panels, also I haven't had time to get the alignment done properly since fitting new front wishbones. I've been too busy to get it sorted. Maybe sort these things before selling? But I really don't have the time due to working seven days a week.

Oh yeah, its done 87000 mile with full service history, and the person I bought it from had if from one year old.

You need to find someone wanting a wagon , they are a bit harder to find than a wannabe saloon owner

Paid £1900 for it and it was totally standard bar the Prodrive springs. It's had a lot of new bits since then as it was a bit tatty, but solid with low mileage.

I've just (stupidly) added it up, and I've spent over £4000 on this in the last year, and only done about 1000 miles!

I cant help but think I may be better off breaking it, but my neighbours might not be too please about the car parts all over the front drive.

I bet most of the $$$ ones don't sell, though, which is really a bit weird, as it's basically the same car except better practicality with the boot, but people are fickle and just don't like the looks of them, I think. I had a bug eye wagon for a while, and it wasn't pleasing on the eye, but it drove just as well as other scoobs

Sold it for 2200 in the end (with a td05, sti injectors etc etc running 315-320bhp). If it had been a saloon, I think it might have fetched maybe a grand more.
