I have been about five times on and off. My impressions are:
Pros:
Good turn out.
Good amount of track time.
Drifting always great to watch.
You can get fairly good views of the track as fencing is lower and closer then most bigger circuits.
Cons:
Over priced! £25 for a non motorsport event (other then the drifting) IMO is too much. I don't mind paying that for BTCC or something but for a show comprising of peoples road cars... too steep.
Parking and the parking attendant system in previous years has been so poor its has taken hours just to get out. That's without staying until the end too! It was a bit better last time I went.
Shopping wise it's mostly tat. On the website it says if you need a car part you will find it in the retail village... yeah right. Other then some alloys, stickers, toys and clothes you won't find anything vehicle specific other then the odd bit here and there.
So I will be there this year and will see how it goes. I did buy tickets in advance as I refuse to pay £25 to looks at what effectively is a car park of jap cars with a bit of drifting thrown in. Don't get me wrong I enjoy it but it's the same every year so only go once every few. The first year you go you will probably love it.
