Default hawkeye STI cluster/dial

Hi

I am new to the subaru world and need to know if anyone has fitted a new style clock/ dial, red dial that sweeps and has DCCD on it to a 2004 STI?

I have a WR1 and wanted to fit the above dial.

What would I expect to pay for that style dial aswel?

I am not asking for opinions and why do you want to do that, all I want to know is facts please lol and im not bothererd about keeping the car standard coz its a limited edition, I dont think I will ever sell this car so these changes are for my own enjoyment. Also if it does work, how do I adjust the milleage to match the actual milleage of my car.

I have seen a hawkeye sti dial from a 2007 on ebay for £250 - just seemed exp to me, what do you guys think?

thanks for your time all, I look forward to your wisdom

PS I need a set of guages - what would you guys recommend?

I really want function over form, tbh I really like the center pod Defi make but for £400> thats just mental

I did the same into a 2005 STI.

As the WR1 and the 2005 STI have DCCD, it should be plug and play. There are three connectors in the back if I remember right, two of them swap around but the plugs physically will only fit in a certain order.

I paid approx. 170quid for mine I believe, was a while ago now.

I didn't on this set, just documented the delta. (they under read by about 9000miles).

I did have a JDM set on before this set though, and I did get that one adjusted because it was previously recording in KM and had 120k racked up

Can't remember who did it though, sorry - someone Manchester way on.

I was looking at doing this but didn't as I was told it required a lot of work, not a simple in and out job?

If you've got DCCD it's plug and play, if you've got a non-widetrack/WR1 then there is some work that's required. Sorry but I don't know the details.

Thy also do a JDM WRX set that doesn't have DCCD or Sti rev buzzer and these are plug and play as I had a set in my old bug years back, I know you use to get issues with the handbrake light and red diff temp light fitting later clocks into earlier cars...it takes a bit of wiring to sort out.
