"Nice car, mate"
Friday evening, driving home from work and I've stopped at the traffic lights for a rest, window down, enjoying the sun.
A chap walking along the other side of the road makes a detor to walk around my car, stops by my window just to say, "Nice car, mate" and then goes back to his wife and child and carries on his way.
That was nice

Stopped at the traffic lights for a rest with your window down,enjoying the sun 
Nice story think you need to get a grip on reality, who in the hell stops at traffic lights to take a rest to enjoy the sun

It was a red light as well, so just a way of saying I stopped at traffic lights, in traffic

Was in screwfix yesterday, lass behind counter was going on and on about some Golf she'd been in that had, "Brilliant roadholding!"
I said she should get herself a ride in an Impreza.
The converstaion then went like this:
Her: "Oh, I don't like those cars, they are driven by idiots!"
Me: "I drive one........."
Her: "Oh...I didn't mean...oh...oh sorry...."
LMAO.

When I had a Honda NSX, I stopped at red light....
....I got called a hairdresser!
I get plenty of good compliments about teh Jag...usually on a car park as I'm about to get in and start it up.....and then it'll refuse to start. It always starts first time when nobody is around

A freind used to have a stage 3, Imperial blue Escort Cosworth with 18" super t's and quad head light conversion. The looks and comments that used to get was something else. Filling up would take forever.
