Have you checked for any CEL codes?

As above I would clean out the ICV and replace the gasket to see if that helps.

I had similar issue and went through the annoying process of randomly changing parts in the hope that it could fix it.

On mine I replaced:

PCV
Coil packs
Bosche O2 Sensor
Throttle body + position sensor
CTS
Crank Sensor
Walboro fuel pump
Fuel Filter
ICV clean + Gasket

TBH it might be cheaper and easier to drop it off with a Subaru specialist, if I total up the cost of changing all the parts that didn't need changing I could have paid for the diagnoses and repair 3 times over lol

What fuel pump have you got? Could be worth changing to a Walboro uprated one if not already done. Its one less thing to rule out I guess and easy enough to change.

Out of interest does the outside temperature have any effect on the problem? Ie when its hotter it doesn't do it as much.. etc

Might be worth getting the map looked at again, just to see if everything is as it should be.
