Boost difference between UK and JDM?
I was under the impression that the JDM's with twin scroll spool up quicker, etc.
What's the difference between the UK and the JDM, i.e where in the RPM range does boost begin on both models?

Not as much difference as your led to believe. personally from owning both. is it worth the price difference between the cars prob not,
your talking less than 1000 rpm difference

Do you know the actual figure as to where boost kicks in for both cars?

off top of my head id say
jdm 2800
uk 3500
there abouts anyway, its a different type of delivery though the jdm is more linear
having had a spec c, and uk cars id say the 2.5 hawk drove very similar to the jdm

As far as the UK Hawk and JDM Hawk, IMO they are night and day difference, but obviously that's as i say IMO.
The UK hawk runs out of puff like a diesel! Awaiting flaming

The 2.0 is a much more revvy engine.
Its personal preference at the end of the day.
Some like the twin scroll linear power delivery
Others prefer the shove and burble of a single scroll
And others the torque of the 2.5

Exactly.
What i was saying is the UK Hawk and JDM Hawk do not drive very similarly, in my opinion.
They're about as different as you could get. Ones got a big lump of torque low down and the other likes to scream.

All joking aside i preferred the 2.5 to the 2.0. low down grunt is epic for road use.
450bhp 2.5 is prob as good as it gets for road

personaly i'd still take the hit on the extra cost to rebuild the 2.5 rather than run the 2.0 at 450. 2.5 will be half way down the road while the 2.0 is still trying to build boost,,,, lol

by an interesting comparison the shorter ratio box in my R does seem to help with that end of things.

they do have reliability issues out the box, bit of a shame realy, but they don;t all let go though.

Does the twinscroll offer a quicker 0-60 time/top speed over the single scroll? And do the JDM cars offer a quicker 0-60 time/top speed than the uk cars? Because these arguments may not mean that much either way?
