It's a 10 year old car i think you're being a bit unrealistic to have such low mileage by now, it's already quite a lot under average mileage.

and that's why I don't want a higher mileage car to start with as it will be my daily driver

I'd pick a motorway queen with a few miles over a town chariot with half the miles every time.
At one point me and the wife both had a Fabia VRS each. Mine had spent much of it's life on the motorway with 160k miles under it's belt and hers had 17k miles at 7 years old. Guess which one was the "way" better car. Clue = The low miler got traded in
