Ah well, my bad! It looks pretty clean to me. Very tempting.

Still this niggling 2.5 failures thing in my head though.... and prefer the blobeye look, plus been offered a lovely looking WR1, what to do....

WR1 is a nice car if you can live with the colour, main benefit being it doesn't have the day glow interior, they saved that for the outside.

Surely if these cars are that prone to engine failure, running 355bhp without forged engine is a recipe for disaster? Makes me nervous.

Hawks seem less prone, i think they have a slightly better pistons. It was with the 2008 hatch on that it all went pear shaped.

Not saying they don't fail, but it's not as common.

I've done 50k miles with just ARP studs and Cosworth HG running a JGM map at 358hp - never missed a beat. Guess it's luck of the draw? I change oil every 4 to 5k as well.

I got 330bhp on my remapped HAWKEYE which has decat exhaust WALBRO fuel pump performance panel filter , so I think it's just luck of the draw on what power you can get out of a Hawkeye ...

Also I think it depends on which rolling road gave them that figure as I think different rolling roads give slightly different readings?
