Default Prodrive performance pack?

Been looking at an 05 blobeye wri sti type uk with PPP, the seller has lost the prodrive performance pack certificate so I just want to know what is the ppp on this model? I know it has a different exhaust but tbh I cant see anything else?

Also can I get a replacement certificate?

Thanks

I think you can contact Prodrive/Subaru with the details of the car and they can confirm if it was a PPP model when new. People tend to rob parts as these cars change hands though. I'm not sure what exactly should be fitted but someone will be along soon with the info. I imagine the ECU, exhaust, fuel pump will be different for a start.

PPP was an aftermarket fitment and was also fitted to cars that had been around for a while and not necessarily from new. There is a database of those cars that had PPP fitted by approved Subaru dealers.

It could also have been fitted after but it could also be duff information from a dealer/seller trying to enhance a sale because it's got a WR Sport or Prodrive branded exhaust.

Hi

On my 04 uk STI there is a Prodrive Authentication silver sticker on the driver side pillar inside between the drivers doors under the tyre pressure sticker.

Also lower Prodrive springs, and they should be Red

18" Speedline PFF7's made by speedline corse Italy for Prodrive as part of the PPP styling package.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi

I was reading the earlier thread about the PPP spec by Blugod (very informative thanks) and it mentions -

To fully benefit from the extra torque levels available, fitment of 18” wheels & tyres are recommended.

My O4 STI uk version with PPP has the standard factory gold alloys ! is it worth going the cost of for the 18" wheel to get the extra benefits

Anybody experienced the difference ?

regards
Ian

IM = International Motors, who run the Subaru Franchises in the UK. Ring any Subaru Dealer and ask for the IM number and let them know why

That's great! Thanks for the info! Mine has the prodrive bits on, but the ecu looks like it's been changed at some point and doesn't have the sticker on it, and it's also got separate remotes for the alarm (Although still sigma)

Cheers,

Chris.

separate remotes for the alarm is normal - only the later cars had the upgraded keyfob with the buttons, the old ones had the alarms on standalone fobs as the onboard blipper wasn't CAT certified I think.
