Default Modified car policy, who do you use

Well now my RA is near enough finished, it will be time to get it mot'd, taxed and insured.
So now its no longer standard im going to be looking at putting it on a modified car policy. Currently my insurance is really quite reasonable, im in a decent position regarding my, mileage, NCB, licence etc so i dont want raping for it.

So who are you guys using? And how have you got on with them?

Cheers

A Plan and also Admiral. But Admiral will insure you for it modified but in the event of an accident they will replace with standard parts! They both do imports

Keith Michaels.

Insured for every single mod and stupid BHP levels - customer service and pricing has been exemplary.

Keith Michaels, price seemed reasonable and great to talk to a insurance company that actually know what an RA is.

Sky insurance. Always declared mods and more mods each year.

I'm in the same position as you this year so I got as is and what it will be quotes. Both very reasonable.

For those that remain loyal to one provider, do you ever check each year for competetive renewals?

I knocked 300quid off of my premium this year by switching, from one reputable specialist on here to another, will ring around every year now rather than making assumptions.

It does seem that loyalty to insurance company's stand for nothing these days which seems crazy. I am with a different company every year because of the saving and it's not a great hassle to switch either.
Who did you use in the end Joe?
