Default a/c idler pulley seized

may seem trivial but new to scooby ownership. some advice would be appreciated. my car was making a whining noise and was worried it may be something serious but just turned out to be a bad crank pulley that drives the a/c. the belt recently shreaded and I was forced to cut it off so no a/c but no more whining noise which is cool. although it doesn't make a difference to the car should I replace the pulley/tensioner and belt or just leave it. thanks.

Not a big issue this time of year.

yeah true. guess theres no rush to sort it. just thought left it might cause the a/c unit to seize.

Well it's a bit of an issue, nothing clears a misted up windscreen better than the a/c

yeah I will get it done this week its just easy to ignore it and spend the money on other things like more fuel to cruise round in my new scooby. but yeah it's bugging me so I will buy the parts tomorrow.
