Default The Boombop Shop

Anyone used them to buy anything? Reason being that I bought a prodrive badge from them over six weeks ago and as of now have received nothing. The badge was around 20 dollars and the postage was over a hundred. I have sent numerous emails via their website and also a few directly to the email address on a website. I received a strange call at 23:30 about two weeks ago from a strange American guy hwo must have been on drugs , saying he was based in Hove, asking what time I wanted delivery of my item the next day? Seeing as he had woken me up I just wanted to get him off the phone and he wouldn't stop asking me questions about my job etc... He then proceeded to sing at me, he actually sounded like he was on crack.

Any ideas?

Over a hundred dollars postage and he's the one on crack . . . .

Maybe he's sent you some crack and it's been held up at customs.

Is this for real ???

Did you not think $100 was a little excessive for postage ??
The name 'the boombop shop' would be enough for me avoid them.

Just been reading on the American forums about this place, few other people also got the impression the guy was high when they spoke to him. Same story, no parts shipped and difficult to get the hold of.

Lol, I really wanted that badge.

The point is they appear to be a reputable site and this has happened.

Nope not a twin scroll

Grrrrr

Possible, but Parcel Force and Royal Mail have the monopoly on goods coming into this country, and they will send you a lovely letter stating the vat/import charges, then their extortionate 'handling' charge, and they will always give you option of explaining any 'irregularities' if they are not deemed criminal.

Maybe the guy accidently dropped a reeffa into the package and Llyods on Customs hit list for drug trafficking!

Watch out tomorrow morning Llyod about 5am where some pj's to bed!

No way will they believe someone paid $100 for postage, so they will think you must be on crack

You need to ask if that is ridiculous?!?!

Jeez that is going to work out as some f'kin expensive badge if you go through with that one, probably could get a jeweller to fashion you one out of 24ct gold for the price it will end up costing you.

Yes because that was probably sent UPS o the states end.

Anything sent by normal 'mail' such as USPS in the States, comes in under PF and RM remit.

EMS from Asia comes in automatically as Parcel Force.

The OP has already spent 100`s of % more on postage than the product, so I am sure he`s quite capable of flying out to sort it !
