Default Widetrack sti which drop links?

Hi Guys,

I am currently doing some suspension mods, and need advice on the correct drop links fron and rear?

I cant find a definitive answer, as all the threads Ive read contradict each other.

Front drop links will be with a standard arb, rear with a 24mm arb.

Any help much appreciated!

Car is a widetrack blob.

Go for the solid whiteline rear droplinks, however you might find that the standard front arb is a bit thin when you add a 24mm rear arb and the car might feel unbalanced, I'd suggest going for a 22mm rear arb or adding a thicker front arb as well. If using the standard front arb then keep the standard links, I'm running Perrin front links on mine and whiteline rear.

Took my solid perrin rose joint links off as they are ****e ( they are designed. For California climate , not Blighty.. they work fine but knock, crack & groan.after a while ...
I reverted back to whiteline adjustable lollipop links , fine so far , was a joy to get rid of the noises associated with the perrin ... Don't get me wrong , perrin are a class company & I have many products by them , however there links & ARB's suffer in this climate . They have a revised solid link , for this very reason but I wasn't willing to try them over the lollipop adjustable

I've not had any problems with my Perrin ones, i find a squirt with some ptfe lubrication every now and again keeps them squeak free

As I said , the product works fine , just my own personal experience lol
Thing is . I don't jet wash my wheels , I take them off & hand wash my inner arches & suspension components . Otherwise I would have said it was down to water ingress & poor maintenance .. Glad yours are holding out
