Default Dealers/Traders??

Allright so im going for a Scoob and read on here that Hursts and Torque GT are the 2 to definitely trust, and NOT Cheshire performance....

.....but what about Clive's performance Lancashire?
Clives seem to have loads of decent mileage blobs and hawks to choose from on Pistonheads/Ebay etc.
Are Clives performance a definite no-no like Cheshire?
Any help appreciated...thanks!

If you see one you like from said dealers could be worth asking on here in case it's a known car, maybe a members old car that can be backed up.

I wouldn't "definitely trust" any car dealer - go with your eyes open and assume they are likely to say anything to make you give them money.

Have we actually had any bad reports of Clives?

RAC/AA check - best £200 you will spend. And if you shelling out thousands for a car, its nothing really. Check over yourself first, be sure its one you want to go for, then get the check.

AS stated check over the cars properly and / or get an independant inspection. Bare in mind most of the 'dealers' tend to buy cars that are already advertised on Ph / ebay / here etc.. rather than fresh imports (unless stated in the ads)

ALthough you are paying a premium for the cars as buying from a dealer i'd just think of it as buying private in that when things go wrong 'some' of them dont want to know and their warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on. Therefore if you find a car you like then just haggle like mad for a GOOD discount!

Goodluck.

Oh and also, i'm getting sick of enquiring about cars that still have adverts/pics up, and then to be told.."sorry mate it's sold"
Why oh why do the dealers leave these cars up?....is it just laziness...
..or i'm thinking it's some dodgy reason...is it just to get all the more enquiries in or does anyone know why? It's really annoying.

Because it makes them seem like they have more cars so are a bigger outfit, also they pay for a certain amount of time so they want to get as much exposure as possible, after all said and done they're trying to run a business.

They posted a load of adverts recently using the same pics as 'c performance' had previously.

Were 'c performance' ever properly linked to Cheshire?

Default Black '04 Type Uk

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...-miles/2692012

Ok lads so I've seen this black one and also pics of the paperwork which seems to be ok, though she needs a belt if the last one went on in 2009.
What do you good sirs reckon?
I mean Clives have even got 20something k mileage examples and what not about them, they can't be that bad, can they?
Anybody know this black 04 car?

I went to take a look a Blobeye STi at Clives performance.

The cars were stored in a warehouse and varied from brilliant to average condition.

I dread to think how much they were worth in total, probably a hundred cars in storage including R35's, Evos, Skylines, Supras and loads of Imprezas.

Most of the cars were modified rather than standard examples, the chap I dealt with seemed a decent guy and did know his stuff.

There were too many cars for every one to be mint but did see some very nice examples.
