Be prepared to pay for a good one, or do a lot of work.

Lots of abused shyte out there and very few minters.

I hasten to add, when these start hitting 20 years old the Americans will start paying top dorrah for the best examples.

Now is the time to buy tbh, and I'm keeping a close eye on that one in the advert.

I don't mind a bit of work hence an investment buying at the right price and making money in the future. That one above is a lovely motor but you might not make much on it at that price for an investment I mean. Unless they start to go for silly money but that's a risk you take I suppose

25 year sorry Ban on car imports like jdm's ... they had to have their own cars... even the 2008 saloon was built and sold on US soil.

Yes I see what your saying I've noticed this to . I couldn't believe what my blob sti is worth in parts when I was looking on grease monkeys site the other day, but hopefully in the future there won't be many left so the price should go up . When I bought my blob five years ago there was shed loads of classics for sale at good prices but now not so many , I've been in to imprezas for years like many on here and seen different prices over the years. Thanks for the input

I think they get imported through Canada and then driven into the states.

The US only got the NA 2.5 RS cars in Classic shape. I have been watching the Auctions in Japan, more and more cars are going to Canada. This is the backdoor route to the US with some Classics hitting GBP £10k portside.

Keeps the prices up.

Our car now up for £6250 which is a bargain given the condition, new pic's are up and i have more if you are interested. its a usable, desirable and rare classic that will just appreciate in value.

Could not find another v1 for sale in the past 12 months. lots of v2/3/5/6/7 about (not knocking the later ones at all!), but none of the first of the STI RA's for sale.

Thanks I wasn't looking at spending that much to be honest as I would just buy it and store it I know your car is a minter but I also have to talk the better half round as well which isn't that easy lol as my blob sti doesn't get used much either . I wish you the best in the sale of your car soon
